The digital kitchen assistant
An app combines recipes, cooking times, and guided cooking for communication between cookware, frying pans, and the hob. This makes cooking, whether manual or automated, a real pleasure.
When the pot and the stove understand each other, cooking becomes an adventure.
Challenge
The app, which is at the heart of Kuhn Rikon's «Guided Cooking» products, faced fewer downloads and received mixed feedback. In addition, communication around the app was rather inconsistent and the app was not really perceived as a culinary kitchen companion.
Solution
Redesign with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and strong images. Enriched with more contemporary recipes and kitchen hacks, the interaction between cookware, app, and hob has also been optimized. Consistent communication online, in editorial content, and on packaging via a new culinary key visual.
